In diagnosing the pathology of "inflation in Iran," factors such as "state-dominated economy," "failure to adopt effective economic policies," "unproductive financial system," "economic sanctions," "lack of integration into global trade and free markets," as well as a "single-commodity oil-dependent economy" have been highlighted in recent years by domestic and international media. However, attributing inflation in resource-dependent economies to the so-called "Dutch Disease"—by likening an economic crisis or turmoil to a pathological condition in the human body—has paved the way for a deeper examination of inflation in Iran, effectively enabling a psychological analysis of this organic structure. In other words, while none of the aforementioned factors can be dismissed as contributors to inflation in Iran's economy, when the economy is conceptualized as a living organism, a phenomenon like inflation cannot be explained or remedied through one-dimensional perspectives or temporary prescriptions. Consequently, this interdisciplinary study employs a descriptive-analytical methodology, incorporating political behaviorism and a fundamental critique of the training and education of the country's executive managers. By engaging with Harold Lasswell's "political personality theory" and introducing the theoretical concept of "elite balance" as the research framework, the study adopts an inductive approach, linking variables to substantiate its core hypothesis: "The reductive and deprioritized view of humanities—as the neglected subconscious of the country's managerial system—has a direct impact on policy and managerial crises in general, and serves as the foundational element of inflation in Iran's economy in particular."
