Following the Islamic Revolution, the Zionist regime transitioned from being a tactical ally to a strategic adversary for Iran. This regime has employed a hybrid approach combining hard and soft power strategies aimed at containing, exhausting, and ultimately dismantling Iran's power projection capabilities. Among its key measures have been explicit and implicit threats of military aggression against Iran, reflecting the Zionist regime's perception of Iran as one of its most significant security threats. In response, Iran has adopted proactive self-defense measures. Consequently, this study seeks to elucidate the significance of Iran's strategic defense-in-depth doctrine in countering the Zionist regime and its critical relationship with the Islamic Republic of Iran's national security. The central research question examines: "How does Iran's strategic defense-in-depth approach against the Zionist regime influence the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran?" Drawing upon the theory of "networked deterrence," this research posits that through its strategic defense-in-depth, the Islamic Republic of Iran has successfully revitalized deterrence as an operational reality, thereby reinforcing and consolidating the foundations of its national security. The study employs library research methods for data collection and descriptive-analytical methods for data interpretation.
