Social capital holds significant importance in contemporary societies, and its deficiency signifies an insufficient reservoir of social trust within the community. Consequently, social bonds become compromised, public morality faces threats, and ultimately, the quality of life and social welfare encounter crises. To enhance social capital in our nation and realize the ideals of the Islamic Revolution, it is imperative to develop an indigenous theory aligned with our country's political and social structure and conditions, adopting a value-oriented and religion-centric approach. This article employs descriptive-analytical and historical-interpretive methods to demonstrate how Shi'a Imamate - possessing distinctive characteristics such as infallibility, divine knowledge, and guardianship - not only presents the most comprehensive epistemological framework for social capital but also effectively expands and strengthens its most crucial cognitive components, particularly the element of trust and its two primary branches: trust-based beliefs and trust-based behaviors. This process subsequently facilitates progress toward the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.
