This article is grounded in Sadra's Intellectual System theory, the role of jurisprudence within it, and his definition of jurisprudence in religion. While contemporary jurisprudence maintains advantages such as its centrality of worship and spirituality, along with utilizing its profound and valuable investigations, it suffers from several shortcomings. These include tendencies toward worldliness, marginalization of "Greater Jurisprudence" (religious doctrines), detachment from the realities of societal religious needs, methodological exclusivism in religious science, subjectivism, and the loss of a significant portion of human capital. The objective of this article is to propose a solution for the transformation of the religious-scientific system. In Mulla Sadra's Transcendent Theosophy, jurisprudence and religious understanding possess an existential purpose, contributing to the expansion of rational and human life. Within the system of Transcendent Theosophy, jurisprudence is a subset of theology, and its definitions and rulings are examined accordingly. In the "Sadraean System," jurisprudence, mysticism, and philosophy are inseparable, encompassing all layers and levels of religion. This principle profoundly influences the proper delineation of jurisprudence's boundaries and scope. Civilization-building jurisprudence, centered on coexistence and resistance to oppression, is a hallmark of Sadraean jurisprudence. In Transcendent Theosophy, jurisprudence fundamentally diverges from its conventional meaning -which involves deriving subsidiary rulings through detailed evidence with a focus on the principles of jurisprudence. If this reconceptualized meaning of jurisprudence is adopted as the foundation in jurisprudential and religious domains, it will yield remarkable outcomes, including the resolution of the aforementioned shortcomings. This article employs a descriptive-analytical methodology based on library research data.
