Since the emergence of the United States as a global superpower in recent decades, there has been ongoing debate about its impending hegemonic decline. The rise of non-traditional security threats, particularly after 9/11, along with deep-rooted societal problems in America, has cast doubt on the resilience and continuity of its hegemony. Furthermore, prolonged economic instability within the U.S.-led global political economy continues to grow increasingly complex. More significantly, the rapid economic growth of China and other emerging powers -traditionally categorized as Global South nations - signals a transformation in the world order. Amid these developments, certain scholars have engaged in theoretical discourse on the shifting global order. These theoretical frameworks, by emphasizing specific power indicators and comparing them with previous eras, conclude that America's competitors - particularly its Eastern rivals- are driving the world toward multipolarity. The central question of this study is: What will be America's position in the emerging global order? In response, the following hypothesis is proposed: Signs of transformation in the global order have prompted Eastern powers, particularly China, to pursue balancing strategies against the U.S.-centric order, thereby altering America's position in the world order. The research employs a qualitative methodology, utilizing thematic analysis to investigate this issue.
