Abstract
This research, with a new reading of Max Weber's book "The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism" on the basis of political imagination, seeks to prove the importance of the power of imagination in the creation and growth of civilizations, especially Islamic civilization. The employment of political imagination is a pure and rare gem in the field of theoretical and practical reason of philosophers and political thinkers. This issue flourished in the ideas and theories of thinkers such as Max Weber, and by taking advantage of it, he was able to make the necessary condition for the emergence of capitalism available to others. The Protestant ethic and the spirit of capitalism, which, like other ethics, are part of practical reason; It requires imagination to achieve, and Max Weber's masterpiece was in linking the two. Various governments and countries want to achieve a capitalist economy and are making great efforts to achieve it. In this way, Max Weber, while defending capitalism, using his political imagination, carefully observed the unique role of this important factor in the development of capitalism. Therefore, Muslims and Muslim thinkers must also go through political imagination in order to achieve Islamic civilization, which is the main strategy of the Imams of the Revolution. Max Weber played a prominent role in the construction of Western civilization by employing political imagination. Muslim theorists will also succeed in creating Islamic civilization by using this imagination, as will be mentioned in a few examples.
