Examining the role of self-efficacy in the system of building human competence

Abstract

Self-efficacy is one of the important constructs in "Bandura's" social-cognitive theory, and it means a person's confidence and belief in his abilities to control his thoughts, feelings, activities, as well as his effective performance in stressful situations. Therefore, it is effective on the actual performance of people, emotions, choices, control of influential events, organization and implementation of required courses of action in order to achieve and achieve performance levels, progress and finally the amount of effort that a person spends on an activity. Persistence in completing tasks, high performance level and in accordance with abilities, actively seeking new successes, challenging problems, dealing effectively with events and conditions, ability to solve problems and use analytical thinking appropriately, not being afraid of failure, choosing more challenging tasks, choosing higher goals, commitment And persistence in reaching them and mastering the situation when it is necessary to retreat are considered to be the characteristics of self-efficacious people. This research, while collecting information through documentary/library method, tries to investigate the role of self-efficacy and its effect on the constructive system of human competence.
