Investigating the impact of strategic environmental assessment determinants on its institutionalization (Case study: Urmia Lake Restoration Headquarters)

Abstract

The main objective of the current research is to determine the impact of strategic environmental assessment (SEA) determinants on its institutionalization in the Urmia Lake Restoration Headquarters. The statistical population of this research includes all employees of the Urmia Lake Restoration Headquarters, numbering 364 individuals. The sample size for this study was determined as 187 individuals using Cochran's formula. In this research, non-random convenience sampling method was used for sampling. The data collection tool was a standardized questionnaire which was distributed to the statistical sample after validation and reliability confirmation. Descriptive statistical methods were used for data analysis. The results indicate that the framework and division of laws and responsibilities have a significant impact on the institutionalization of strategic environmental assessment in the Urmia Lake Restoration Headquarters
