Given the importance of theoretically explaining the perspectives of experts in various fields of social sciences regarding cultural and social capital, this study was conducted with the aim of providing a sociological analysis of the role of cultural and social capital in family interactions (with an emphasis on spousal violence).This research employed a qualitative approach, and the required data were collected through focused interviews with 30 experts until theoretical saturation was reached. Library sources were also used as complementary material. Data were analyzed through coding and categorization of the collected information.The final findings indicate that the level of social and cultural capital among men in the country is moderate, which stems from broader societal conditions. Ultimately, the study concludes that cultural and social capital significantly influence family interactions in Tehran. This influence is direct: as levels of cultural and social capital increase, family members’ interactions improve and spousal violence decreases. Therefore, policymakers and stakeholders should give serious attention to enhancing social and cultural capital in order to strengthen positive family interactions
